You can join one organization, or more than one based on your work-related needs and / or personal interests.
Who can join this standards body?
Anyone can join our organization. We have a Member Tier for the general public which cost less than a dollar a month. We also have 4 other Member Tiers for professionals:

- Founders Tier
- Private Members Tier
- Public Member Tier
If you are interested in getting into our industry, then we suggest starting as a Public Member and then upgrading to a Private Member or Founder tier.
Are there any prerequisites to join?
There are no prerequisites, whatsoever, to join.
Does the organization offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Executive Think Tanks, Industry Clusters or Clubs?
Yes. We can help you to organize and set up a Special Interest Group (SIG) which can be either open to other Members or private.
We can also help you with the organization and set-up of Executive Think Tanks or Industry Clusters which are both aligned with an SIC or NAICS business segment if that is what you’d like. You can also sponsor an “all-industry” version of these where there is no industry orientation.
What is a Value Chain Management standards body for Cannabis and Hemp professionals?
We’re the first international standards body which focuses exclusively on Value Chain Management for Cannabis and Hemp organizations and their partners, employees, and customers.

Cannabis Connect™ is a Professionals’ Networked Community (PNC) platform which we provide as a web-based Software-as-a-Service. Cannabis Connect™ allows our members to communicate with each other through discussion forums and private messaging as well as collaborate on industry initiatives such as our Knowledge Management Question & Answer repositories.
To boost member engagement, we also provide members with an interesting set of challenges through what is called; “soft and hard gamification”. Our Ducats & Alms™ game allows members to accrue points (“soft gamification”) through an amazing set up game rules and then redeem those points when our Partners offer actual prizes and monetary rewards (“hard gamification”).

What is the Ducats & Alms game all about?

Our Ducats & Alms™ game allows members to accrue points (“soft gamification”) through an amazing set of game rules. You can then redeem those points for various types of awards as well as actual prizes and monetary rewards (“hard gamification”) when our Partners sponsor the costs of redemption.

Does the organization have any Knowledge Management (KM) resources?
Yes, we support Knowledge Management (KM) activities as a primary Member service. We have two forms of KM. The first form is a threaded discussion forum which aggregates member questions and answers. The second form is the ability to accrue requirements which help employees and businesses to manage the requirements relating to any aspect of the business. For example, if we want to start a requirements management repository on Cannabis Cultivation, then we would accrue all requirements relating to this category. A requirement is an atomic statement such as, Cannabis seeds are provided an optimal germination environment at 78ᵒF.
